Thursday – Thomas Edison National Historic Park – All
Visitors can step back in time to Thomas Edison’s home and laboratory, when machines were run by belts and pulleys and music was played on phonographs. Discover where America’s greatest inventor changed our world forever.

Friday – The Grounds for Sculpture – Spouses
Outdoors, nearly 300 contemporary sculptures are sited across 42 landscaped acres. Indoors, temporary exhibitions from established  and emerging artists are featured in six galleries.

SaturdayHistoric Princeton and Palmer Square Shopping – 10 Aug 2024

Princeton has a storied history, world famous Princeton University, and a variety of shops and restaurants to explore.

We’ll take a bus from the SpringHill Suites departing at 9:30 AM and see several historic sites along the way including Princeton Quaker Meetinghouse, Princeton Battlefield State Park, and point out The Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Albert Einstein’s House. 

Upon arrival at Princeton’s Palmer Square around 10:30 AM, participants can individually decide if they want to dive right into shopping or first take a one hour walking tour of Princeton University.  All participants will then find their own lunch at the dozens of food establishments in Palmer Square and along Nassau and Witherspoon streets.

We’ll meet at the Princeton Tiger statue in Palmer Square at 1:20 PM for the return trip,  passing by more historic sites including the Battle Memorial, Morven, and the NJ Governor’s residence, Drumthwacket.  We’ll return to the Springhill Suites around 2 PM to allow participants time to get ready for the evening’s events.
